Adult Day Care Centers
Adult day care centers offer a safe and caring environment for adults who need supervision or assistance and might not be safe or actively engaged if left at home. Trained staff members provide a variety of recreational activities, medication management, and social services in a protective group setting. Rehabilitation services (OT, PT, SLP) are sometimes available. Transportation arrangements are provided or can be arranged. Some centers offer extended daytime and weekend hours. Adult day care centers are licensed in Maryland.
