Services: Offers affordable housing for seniors (age 62 or older). Owns and manages several apartment buildings for seniors. Sheltered Care Program assists seniors with limited incomes who need some extra help to remain independent. Housing Assistance and Resource Service routes calls for information about applicant’s status on HOC's waiting list for assisted housing, a list of affordable apartments and programs, HOC's first-time home buyer program, housing programs for the elderly, emergency/homeless/facing eviction situations, and the Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit Program.

RESIDENTIAL/DOMICILIARY CARE FACILITIES - ADULT CARE RESIDENCES

Offer a type of long-term care housing for adults/seniors with mental or physical challenges. Facilities have at least four beds and provide room and board for either ambulatory or non-ambulatory residents. Also provide supervision and assistance with bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily life.
