Obit - Harold Weisblut

Dear MCSA Friends --
With a heavy heart, I am informing you that my father, Harold Weisblut, collapsed Sunday morning, March 6, at my home and died soon after.
His death was totally unexpected. He was recovering well from recent minor surgery. He had vague complaints of "not feeling well" last night, and we thought he had indigestion. I checked on him several times last night, and he told me repeatedly that he was OK. It was not his nature to complain. We think he had a cardiac arrest.
He was a dear, sweet man, and we will miss him terribly. We are thankful that he lived to the ripe old age of 94, that spent his last 5 hears living with my husband and me, and that he did not suffer a long illness or painful death.
Grave-side funeral services will be held at King David Memorial Gardens (Falls Church, VA) on Wednesday, March 9, at 11:00 a.m. Shiva will be at the home of Janet & Buddy Gritz in Silver Spring on Wednesday and Thursday. Details will be in the obituary, which will appear in the Washington Post this Tuesday and Wednesday.
If anyone wishes to send a memorial contribution, we are suggesting the Montgomery County Stroke Association (P.O. Box 2052, Silver Spring, MD 20915-2052).
