NRH Stroke Study Needs Volunteers

HI, ALL--
JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT I MET SUSAN RYERSON THIS WEEK AT NRH (National Rehabilitation Hospital) AND VOULUNTEERED TO HELP HER WITH THE STUDY SHE IS DOING FOR HER PHD. SUSAN IS VERY BRIGHT AND A DELIGHTFUL PERSON AND CAN BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL AT RYERSU@AOL.COM. SHE IS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS POST STROKE AND WHO HAVE NO HIP OR SPINE PROBLEMS. OUR MEETING DID NOT TAKE A LOT OF TIME, AND SHE COULD USE MORE VOLUNTEERS -- SO PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING HER. I HAD A MAJOR STROKE IN JULY 2003 AND HAVE HAD SOME THERAPY AT NRH.
